Comments: Hi Ralph: Welcome back to CA! My wife and I spent August with friends camping and touring British Columbia. Went sight seeing, salmon fishing, rode ferries on the inlets, camped in their Provincial Parks, and a couple of RV parks when we needed hookups. Rode the mail boat out of Port Alberni to another town, and back. We were treated to some impromptu whale watching as some humpbacks decided to perform by the boat! Since we got back home, we have gone to Morro Bay for a few days, a town we love. You'll be happy to hear that SLO is still there and awaits you. We are leaving tomorrow AM to spend a couple days at the Bristlecone Pine Forest outside Big Pine. Maybe see you on the 395?
Have a great journey home. Really enjoyed you pics and your shares. Thank you.

Comments: Ralph, your website intrigues us. We are new to truck camping (new to any kind of camping) and learned of your travels through Truck Camper Magazine. As we plan our trips, we are curious to know how you plan your trips. Do you have an itinerary before you leave home; do you know ahead of time where you will stop or do you just come up on sites that you like; how many miles do you typically travel in a day. I think it would be fun to duplicate your route and adventures. Thanks so much, we look forward to hearing from you..Fran and David

Comments: HI Ralph, I see you are moving right along and thanks for the reports and pictures. It's been hot here and several fires in Ca.& Oregon has been giving us some smoky days at times. We have been real busy this summer but getting ready to head to the coast after labor Day and the kids will be back in school. Take care and be safe out their. Jay

Comments: Hello Ralph, This is the first time I have looked at your blog.It is very well done. As an old friend I am proud of you. I won't give you a hard time anymore about your travels even though I miss you when you are gone. I look foreword to your return so we can play music together again. Make sure you stay safe and don't try to pet the "Bears". Be sure to tell Bruce hello for me when you see him in Billings. By the way the girls in the office enjoyed looking at your blog as much as I did.

Comments: I really like following your travels. I have 988 days till retirement and my wife and I are going to do waht you are doing. I have already bought a 20 ft. travel trailer for our adventures. Hopefully it is small enought for the out of the way places to camp. Keep up the good work.

Comments: Hi Ralph. So you are ramblin' in Wyoming. My wife and I were there in 2014. We camped a few days at Gros Ventre in Grand Teton. I loved that place! Especially when a moose ambled through our campsite early one evening. Just wanted to let you know what you are missing back here in CA.Rain! All day today. Of course it's "not enough" but it seems like a pretty significant rainfall to me.
Anyway, that's the big news here. See you down the road, one of these days!
