Hi Ralph. Just a quick comment to wish you a happy father's day this weekend. Enjoy your time off the road with your family. As for me, my daughter is cooking breakfast, and my son has dinner covered. Awesome!! Also hope that your time in Ontario was good with lots of great music. Wish we could have been there.

Great information, Ralph. Thanks for sharing it. We have a Lance 845 on a 2500 Chevy Silverado. This rig has served us well the past few summers. We often tow our C-Dory Angler as well. We're a few years out from where we can go on the road full time, but we're looking forward to it.

My wife wants a travel trailer and take it to a park to set up for the summer. A travel trailer that doesn't travel... I want a pick up slide in camper to roam,any advise on what to do?

My first time on your site and I am hooked. My wife and I have been RV'ers since 2005 and have had 2 trailers. We now have a new Lance camper and like it even better. We do some rock hounding, fly fishing, photography, and we just bought an inflatable kayak. Thanks for giving such a great accounting of so many great forest service CG's as well as BLM and state campgrounds. You are doing what we have pictured us doing for the next few years at least. We are one year into retirement. We might start including some music festivals as we both enjoy bluegrass and American Traditional music. Also really like the way your site is set up;very easy to negotiate. Hoping to meet up some day on the trail...John
