Comments: Ralph,
Just checking in again. Sounds like you had another good year of ramblin' adventure. All well here. Lorraine and I had another enjoyable automobile trip to Manitoba Canada in late June. Heavy rains several places along the way. Had to slow to 20 mph in eastern Wyoming and as we were driving through Fargo, ND. We are off to Fayetteville next weekend for a quick visit with relatives.

Comments: HI Ralph , I see that you are back west and hope that you had a good trip with your friends, the time has gone by so fast. Up here in the PNW we are having some good size storms ( 2.5 in of rain Thursday night and more to come the rest of the weekend. ) We left on Sept 13th for Mt.Rushmore and Devil’s Tower and thanks to you we camped at some good places, For the three weeks we averaged $12.50 a night for camping. I will check back in to see your rap up of your 2016 adventures, Thanks for taking us with you. Jay

Comments: Hi Ralph. We finally got out on the road last week after Terri got cleared to travel by her surgeon. So, with her "good to go" we've been gone for 6 days,so a big "howdy!" from Kansas. I see you are in Arizona, one of our favorite haunts, especially in the fall and early spring. Really great to be back out here again. See you on down the road, hopefully!

Comments: Hi Ralph, I see you're on your way back to CA and now in Arizona. That part of Arizona is one of my favorites. Are you boondocked off of the road to the North Rim? Your posting didn't have the GPS link. Looks like room for a fifth wheel, but I would be leery of the road in and low hanging branches. On that unusual wildflower, it looks like a plastic pinwheel!
Take care.

Comments: Hi Ralph. I meant to send you a "howdy!" much sooner than this, but we moved to Palmdale in April and have been caught up in just about anything BUT getting out in the truck camper since then. Not much will shake loose anytime real soon. Was looking at your log yesterday afternoon, following your route along Washington Route 20. Showed it to my wife in the Delorme's and told her it is a MUST DO. First, however, we have a trip planned to go cross country to Pennsylvania to see family in September, IF my wife has travel clearance from the surgery she has scheduled Aug. 15. We have to be back here in time for my daughter's baby shower(expecting her first Jan 18). Glad for the opportunity to go truck camping with Ralph if only vicariously. Thank you and keep on truckin'.

Comments: Hey Ralph! I see you are in McCall. We've been to but never stayed at the resort there. Nice for sure. There are a lot of campgrounds there if you are a local and know. Just north of Payette Lake off of Warren Wagon Road is the Northwest Passage CG. Very nice and you'd fit in there easily. We just took a 300 mile ride from home in Meridian, to Stolle Meadows, Warm Lake, Landmark, Yellow Pine (this weekend is the harmonica festival), back to McCall via Lick Creek Rd and back home,in a day. Came across a lot of nice FS CGs along the way. Check out Yellow Pine. You could dry camp up there somewhere easily. The road over Lick Creek is not bad, a little narrow and bumpy in spots, but you can make it in your pickup. We did it in our Jeep and a lot of people take their sedans. Take care.
